Okay...I made my first vlog. That was...um...a bit awkward. However, I think it was a good thing...and in the long run it was more for me than anyone else. Many more will follow...including (I hope) one of me packing just before I leave.
David, that is why you are going. It is also why we, living our comfortable lives in the US, do so little to help those less fortunate. Most people have never made a trip like you are about to make, nor seen the things you are about to see. Sure, we see images on television, but it isn't quite like being there, experiencing it with all five senses.

I loved how you distinguished between statistics and faces because we are *so* desensitized to statistics.
